Canada’s official knock-off of The Onion. You’ve probably seen our articles shared in your feeds, followed by a comment of somebody saying “I thought the Beaverton was satire!”

For over a decade I’ve been writing, editing, social media managing, and podcast co-producing for “Canada’s Trusted Source Of News”. I was also a writer on all three seasons of the Bell Media TV show, as well as writing and producing digital content and videos.

I’ve written hundreds of satirical articles that have collectively garnered millions of views (including one VERY viral piece about Chris Hadfield which I apologized for when I met him on The Darkest Dark).

When insane news stories break, there’s no better training than to create biting satire that gets pitched, written, and posted within the hour. Recently, we’ve successfully relaunched The Beaverton Weekly Report, our regular program filling the void in Canadian news comedy podcasts.
