Narrative design

Writing video games is unbelievably fun. Getting to craft stories alongside a team of geniuses, plus incorporating your work with the various tech devs who bring the work to life - literally, like you can play it and everything.

If writing TV is building a train so it can start moving, narrative design is building the train while it’s already racing down the tracks.

Most recently I was the Senior Narrative Designer for Uken Games, overseeing the team that wrote their live service mobile game AVA’S MANOR. Each new bi-monthly chapter featured 90+ minutes of original scripted cutscene content. That’s a full feature film, or half a Christopher Nolan film.
